this isn't really a "sexy" character or cosplay, but it is probably the most* beautiful i've felt in a long time of doing this, probably since jacketed bunny girl (of which i would like to do again soon, but i need a new jacket because ya boy been working out).even without the rest of the costume, i loved the makeup, i did not wanna take it off. i do think the makeup is something i could handle on my own, but when my friend spencer is not only a makeup artist, but an award winning oil painter who does skull based paintings... it's hard to say that i'd even hold a candle to what he is capable of doing.this is also the first time i've made any sort of cosplay thing myself. the chestpiece took about 15 hours over 2 weekends. i found a great tutorial online that i followed exactly and i gave myself a 91/100 on it. the rest of the pieces came from etsy. the bone necklace: i ordered animal bones and some thin leather, drilled some holes in them and threaded them. the cape, the accessories, all etsy as well, i'm not THAT ambitious. fortunately, the rest of the costume is just black clothing which i ordered online: black scrubs shirt, black pants, black boots, so that wasn't too hard.i did this cosplay of harrowhark for a video that i'm currently working on, it is not just a random costume. i want to cosplay this somewhere very soon though and i'd love to actually be in character if anyone recognized me. WHEN that'll happen, i'm not sure. voice might also be pretty difficult considering this character is a teenage girl and i'm 35, but it is what it is.the next look i plan on attempting is something a lot more formal. my friends are holding a 10th anniversary party and the theme is "formal" so i plan on going pretty all out on something, we'll see how it turns out though.until next time.
